We’ve got some brilliant news to share as the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round rolls around.

Massive congratulations to Chris Hooper, who has been appointed as Assistant Referee for the tie between Warrington Town v Bamber Bridge on Saturday 30 August. A fantastic appointment and a great reward for the work Chris continues to put in week in, week out.

And the good news doesn’t stop there. We’re also pleased to confirm that one of our own has picked up an appointment in the same round, again acting as Assistant Referee, for Witton Albion v Shildon. Two FA Cup appointments in the same round is always something worth shouting about.

These appointments reflect the strong standards being set by our officials and it’s great to see Chester RA well represented on the national stage. We wish both games all the best and look forward to hearing how they go.
